This natural reserve was a project thought up by Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente and is very different from a zoo as a way of seeing animals in danger of extinction. The animals do not suffer the results of their captivity as they inhabit large areas, similar to their natural habitats. Thus their high levels of breeding, avoiding anti-natural procedures. Safari Madrid lets you observe wild animals at liberty. From your own vehicle or a pneumatic train, a wide range of animals can be seen up close, many of them living with other species common to their eco-system. Apart from the giraffes, bears and lions, their is also a Reptile House and Insect House.
In summer visitors have a swimming-pool to cool down in, located next to a giant slide and kart track.
